Increase Your Click Throughs

Look, I know that it seems like writing articles doesnt produce enough actual traffic to your blog. We write articles, hopefully we get a few hundred views. But unfortunately, that doesnt mean a whole lot of views to our blogs and websites.
The normal click through rate is usually around 5-10%. Not really great if your not getting upwards in the 1000 view range. but I have been getting around 20-25% click through using a little link placement strategy. Its very simple, maybe even obvious. But not many people use it, if any.

Use What the Directory Gives You

When it comes to publishing my best articles, I only use the top 10 directories, maybe just the top 5, depending on the situation. Now. with most of the top directories, you can place a link within the actual article. Now, they have rules and guidelines when it come to inner-article link placement. Usually, you have to keep your link below the fold.(Basically below the lowest part of where your article shows when loaded by the viewer)

So if you set up your article right, you can find a place for your link just below the fold. Make sure you aonly use 3 words for the actual link. The sentence can be longer, but the code can only be 3 words. So you can do something like this: For m
ore info click here.

That little trick makes a world of diference. If you have your article ranked on the search results, people are looking for that link. Make sure they can see it as soon as possible. Its OK if they want to skip the article and click right through. Thats what you want, right?

These are just a few of the articles I have used this little technique on. Its really simple, I wish I had used it sonner. But sometimes you get caught up doing the same thing for so long, that you just dont realize all the options. Go ahead and try it out. I can almost guarantee that it will increase your Click Through's.
